Discover your art with this kick starter of an art course. I use still life as a vehicle for the aspects of the course that involve drawing and painting; other topics covered are mindset, inspiration, colour, and acrylic painting generally. This is a great precursor to my extensive self paced Experimental Still Life course that will be released in 2023. You have lifetime access to this mini course and all iterations of it; which there will be.

Discover Your Art

This is a short self paced course that was once a live course over five days. To get the most out of it you can take your time.

I encourage your brave individuality and that you stop questioning whether you are an artist or not. You are. All artists are a work in progress and only you can be you.

By going slightly out of your comfort zone you will learn new things. Your abilities and perception of yourself and your capabilities will expand.

Testimonials

"My report at the end of a wonderfully mesmerising week; it has been such a joyful experience! Your videos have been so much fun Gabriella - insightful, playful, thought-provoking and personal. Sometimes it almost felt like being in the studio next to you, and not miles and miles away in a different country. My favourite parts of it all were when you were talking aloud to yourself, making decisions on what to do next in your paintings. In short, I am truly grateful for having had the opportunity to participate in this course."

"I was having difficulty starting a painting practice on my own. This was the perfect jump start. The daily videos were so inspiring and the assignments encouraged me to think less/act more, make mistakes, and play. I enjoyed seeing people say that this was outside of their comfort zone but they did it and posted their work just the same. That's courage. And we could not have done it without our fearless leader- Gabriella. Many thanks!"

"I've been wary of trying still life (I paint abstracts) but you've not only inspired me but your thoughtful and very honest approach - including your openness about the 'mistakes' you make - has been utterly game-changing. I love the way you talk about your work and that of others, and being able to see things through your eyes has been a revelation.  The colour palette exercise opened up a whole new direction in some very speedy abstract studies I did, and I honestly can't wait to learn more about still life using your advice and encouragement. Thanks so much for a really brilliant course."
